Digital Aircraft Factory Makes the TODAY Show on NBC

This morning, Digital Aircraft Factory had its first debut nationwide as part of an NBC Today Show Story on the 37th Anniversary of the crash of Eastern Flight 401. Digital Aircraft Factory's President and Chief Aviation Artist Catherine Smallwood works with the Eastern Flight 401 Tribute Committee as a volunteer committee member for the group, bringing her aviation expertise and artistic skills to assist the group as they work toward creating a tribute to those whose lives were lost or touched by the accident.

Using plans by the Miami architecture firm of Brockhouse Associates, P.A., she has worked with the firm to create a 3D model of the current proposed design which would be built at the site of the accident in the Florida Everglades.
